Creatives

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Lummys?

Lummys is a network of creatives (e.g. artists, musicians, film producers, directors, comedians, writers, graphic designers, etc.) that develop social media content (e.g. videos, music videos, reality videos, cartoons, comics, drawings, photos, stories, etc.) for businesses, politicians and more.

Why should you use Lummys for your social media content needs?

Lummys helps you meet your social media content needs with quality customer service, content being designed and created by an enormous spectrum of creatives, and professionalism and fulfilling the needs of our clients are always our top priority.

What payment methods can you use to pay for your project?

Typically payments are through credit cards and/or pay pal. If you would like to make other arrangements, we should be able to help you.

How and when do you get paid for a project you've won?

Once the Creative(s) have been awarded, have completed their project with their Buyer and the Buyer has forwarded all relevant payments to Lummys. When the Buyer approves and pays for your final files, the project status is "completed" and your payment becomes available for payout.

We make payments via PayPal. There is never a charge to Creatives for payments made to your PayPal account; if you do not have a PayPal account, we recommend that you register an account right now. For Creatives who reside in a country where PayPal payments are not available, you can choose to be paid through a direct bank wire transfer; our bank charges us a $17 fee for overseas wires ($7 if your country's currency is available on the system!) and we will deduct this cost from your total award.

If you are a newly registered creative, your payment will not be available to schedule for 30 days after completion of your first project wrapup.

Does Lummys have specific policies to protect intellectual property rights?

Lummys User Agreement prohibits people from selling, reproducing, modifying, displaying, preparing derivative works from, reposting, or using the content found on Lummys.com - without the express written permission from the owner of the work.

After consulting and collaborating with Lummys community, Lummys also has adopted Standards of Conduct for Creatives and Standards of Conduct for Buyers - each of which touches on the importance of intellectual property in our community.
