Hapoel's fourth-grade basketball team ended its Montgomery County league season on a good note last weekend with a 37-28 victory over Griffins 2

Danny Zweben had another good game, leading the way with 20 points, four steals and four assists. The victory let the Seahawks finish the season with an impressive 7-1 record.

Jacob Glassman also helped with 10 points and seven rebounds. Noah Green added four points and Mory Gould got three.

Jonah Riffkin was strong on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds, while Akiva Glashofer played tough defense, shutting out his man for a second straight week.

This win came one week after the Seahawks rolled to an easy 28-14 victory over the North Bethesda Serpents.

After giving up the first four points of the game, Hapoel clamped down on defense. The Seahawks made a number of steals that led to easy points. Zweben led the team with 19 points -- but he also had eight steals, which turned into eight points. He also made all five of his free throws.

Gould had six points, but also added four steals. He posted six rebounds in a strong all-around effort.
