It was championship time last week in the Hapoel Soccer League.

Tsfat Orange claimed the crown in the sixth-eighth grade division with a 3-0 victory over Chevron Scarlet. Menachem ShemTov led the way with two goals while Noach Aryeh Schwart got the other.

Tiveria Sky Blue scored a 2-1 overtime victory over Yerushalayim Kelly. Sam Hofman and Max Byer scored goals for Sky Blue, who also got assists from Arthur Schoen and Jonathan Galitzer.

Naftali Ginsburg scored the only Kelly goal.

Sammy Mellman got the game-winning goal in Netanya Royal's 1-0 victory over Chevron Scarlet in the fourth-fifth grade championship game.

Yerushalayim Kelly pulled out a 2-1 victory over B'nai Brak Yellow in one consolation final. Gil Melkin and Jesse Zweben scored in the overtime win.

Avrohom Mond scored the lone Yellow goal.

Yonah Soskin's goal gave Tiveria Sky Blue a 1-0 victory over Tsfat Orange in another consolation final.

In the second-third division, a round-robin tournament was used to crown Yerushalayim Kelly the winner and that team needed to do some extra work to get there.

For example, Kelly used key goals from Jacob Myers to pull out 1-0 sudden-death overtime victories over B'nai Brak Yellow and Netanya Royal.

A round-robin tournament also was used in the second-third grade division for the consolation finals. Chevron Scarlet took that by finishing with a 1-0-3 record.

Jonah Pinchot got the only goal in the team's lone victory, a 1-0 decision over Tsfat Orange.There were six games overall in the round-robin tourney on the consolation side.

Yerushalayim Kelly needed extra time to pull out a championship in the kindergarten-first grade division.

Joshua Myers, Justin Galitzer and Daryl Nadler each scored one goal to give Kelly a 3-2 overtime win over Tsfat Orange in the title game.

Jordan Teitelbaum and Ruven Kotz each scored a goal for Orange.

On the girls' side, in the sixth-eighth grade division, Bruria Hammer-Bleich's overtime goal gave Chevron Lime/Tsfat Orange a 1-0 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly/Tiveria Sky Blue in the championship game.

Emma Hofman and Danielle Galitzer each scored a goal as Chevron Yellow pulled out a 2-1 overtime victory over Tiveria Sky Blue in the third-fifth grade division's title game.

Tzviya Melman got a goal for Sky Blue, but it wasn't enough.

Thea Ornstein got the game-winning goal for Yerushalayim Kelly in its 1-0 victory over Tsfat Orange in the consolation finals.

The kindergarten through second grade division championship game saw more offense than the others as Tsfat Orange scored a 5-3 victory over Chevron Yellow.

This game wound up being a shooting match between Abigail Salamon and Rebecca Levine. Salamon scored all five Tsfat Orange goals while Levine got all three Yellow goals.

The consolation finals saw Tiveria Sky Blue roll to a 4-0 victory over Yerushalayim Kelly. Bracha Eizenstat got a hat trick to carry the Sky Blue offense while Elyana Schwarts scored the final goal.
