Hapoel Basketball

The Hapoel Sea Hawks have had a good run the past few weeks, winning two straight games in very easy fashion.

The third-grade basketball team rolled to victories over the Potomac Flyers (12-3) and the McLean Mustangs (24-4), playing strong basketball at both ends of the court.

The Sea Hawks used balance and defense in their victory over the Flyers two weeks ago.

Danny Zweben led the team with six points. Mory Gould, Ari Sporkin and Eli Horn also helped with two points apiece as the Sea Hawks' defense smothered the Flyers.

In the McLean game this past weekend, Zweben again led the way with a game-high 14 points. Aaron Weiss added six points thanks to some nice full-court drives, and Jacob Glassman added four on follow-ups.
